INTRODUCTION

My name is Diamond Agbaje Willams. I was born in Ibadan, Oyo, Nigeria on the 20th of April, 1999. I was raised in Nigeria, Philippines and Canada. I’ve schooled in all these three countries. I went to and recently graduated from high school (grade 9-12) in Ontario, Canada. I am the first of three children. I’m into music, photography and art.

HOW YOUR JOURNEY TO CANADA STARTED?

I moved to Canada from Philippines in 2013 with my family. We first lived in Scarbough, Ontario before moving to St. Catharine’s, Ontario where i currently live. I am a permanent resident in Canada.

WHAT SCHOOL ARE YOU AND WHAT COURSE ARE STUDYING?

I am currently enrolled at the University of Toronto and going to be a first year student in September. I’m planning to double major in Music &Culture and studio for my Bachelor of Art degree.

WHAT CAN NIGERIA LEARN FROM CANADA?

Canada provides universal healthcare for its people, This is very important because it allows everyone access to healthcare when they need it without worrying about not being able to afford it. I believe everyone deserves a right to good health.

WHAT YOU DO FOR A LIVING?

I’m a photographer and an artist. I’ve had my works displayed at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario and gallery 44 in Toronto. I’m the director of events and logistics of the African Students Association executive team at the University
